Yesterday was interesting.
It started off with someone playing a prank on the principal. They filled his office with balloons. Luckily, he seemed to be a good sport about it. Then, the whole school was decked out for the Homecoming game and dance. All the lockers had cute little paper hawks on them that said “West End Wingers” I have a feeling someone from the decorating committee pranked the principal because the same balloons were all over the halls.
Of course we had to have the obligatory assembly with all the Wingers and the cheerleaders. I’m not going to complain though. We got out of some classes and Chris was there, unfortunately so was Brianna, but she has been leaving me alone this year. I think maybe she has decided to move on.
After school Molly’s parents picked us up and took us to the homecoming bonfire. First time I had gone. Molly’s parents had a bit of a tailgate party going on. They had tons of food and were inviting people over. Her parents are a lot of fun! Then we did our duty and hung out for the game. We actually watched this one.
Our team won! Go Wingers!
After the game people were heading to the Homecoming dance, but Molly’s parents dropped us off here for our own party. Mom got us a couple of movies and a ton of snacks (I probably gained 10 pounds between the tail gate and movie night) It was a lot of fun!
