Yeah, well, even if she wasn’t, she still had a very vivid dream about him being killed while protecting her. I guess it’s a good reason enough to feel bad.
Being a coward myself, I wouldn’t want to tempt fate and I’d stay home until I changed my hairstyle…
But I’d bet she’ll stay longer (even in “normal time-zone”) than she thinks…
I wonder if she dreams in the third person? If she does and she remembers her appearance than she could keep an eye out for signs. Most likely seeing it from a 3rd person perspective was for the reader’s benefit.
I’m pretty sure that this is exactly what I’d be doing after something like that, I tend to worry a lot after dreams like that. And man, I can’t wait to see where Mia pops up this time. Or Rhen’s face when she pops up.
I can see it now. She jumps over. She warns Rhen. They encounter mage assassin dude (don’t remember his name). Mia saves Rhen, but the ring gets destroyed. Mia gets stuck for several years trying to find a method for getting back. She comes back and it has been twenty plus years in her origin world. Parents freak out and send her to a mental institute. End of story and go back to the Adventures of Crimson Rhen.
Then again I could be wrong and she just misses the call.

And away we go…?

Mia’s awfully concerned for someone who’s not “interested” in him… 😉

Oh no! I’m all caught up. All I can do now is pound F5 until there’s more.
Great story so far.

Aww, thanks. We’d love to make more, faster. 🙂
It would take going full-time, though. No can do right now. 🙁

Yeah, I’ve had some dreams where I woke up and it took a few minutes for me to sort out the dream from reality.

I think missing the call is the more likely scenario.

That is true, but I always love going into large complicated plot summaries.
