My kids LOVE the Hello Panda cookies. It’s a good thing they come in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla here because each of my three kids has a different favorite flavor.
We used to have to pay through the nose for those cookies at the grocery store that carried import foods. I’m pretty sure Target has them for like, a buck now.
Too many to decide. Regular Skittles (lime is my favorite flavor) and regular Starbursts (strawberry is my favorite flavor). I’m partial to one bite-size piece of regular Hershey, followed by a bite-size piece of dark chocolate Hershey. That seems to fit the bill after lunch.
I also like regular M&Ms, especially the baking-size ones. I don’t like peanut M&Ms, and had I gotten this one job that would have put me in a high-traffic portion of the office, I would have set out a dish of them so that I wouldn’t eat them.
I’m a big enough guy already, so I actually look for reasons to rule out eating out candy.
My Grandpa used to own a vending machine company, and we used to go to Smith’s Candies in Myerstown, PA to buy in bulk (this was back in the 1980s… before Sam’s and Costco.)
I believe I tried to eat one of those once.
It made me feel so sick I had to spit it out in the nearest bin.
I had to conclude that american chocolate is akin to rat-poison… which is just as well as most times I’ve been to yankland, I was too busy nomming on steaks to bother with such trivialities as chocolate.
The patisseries in Lyon are still my favourite for confectionary. So good. So very good. =)
They tested it on Mythbusters.
The amount of pop rocks and soda necessary to cause enough gas to rupture the stomach, would be fatal to ingest.
No human has been killed by the combination of pop rocks and soda.
did anyone notice I said “soda candies”, as in candies that taste like different kinds of soda pop and are little gummies that are shaped like soda bottles, you did you start the entire tangent about pop rox and soda because yo thought I said soda and forgot a comma between it at candies as a generic term for whatever other sweets Mia could bring back. Maybe she could introduce the crew to chocolate chip cookies

My mother-in-law makes these gourmet candies that are cherries in creamy peanut butter in chocolate.

Gummy Bears all the way. No other drug is good enough!
April 15, 2013 at 12:39 am
Sour liquorice straps. I can’t get enough of them. 😛

Chocolate oranges. It’s just the right blend of tangy and sweet.

Yeah, we’ve always got some kind of candy floating around my office. Never seems to last very long…
April 14, 2013 at 10:07 pm
Sour Gummi worms here. Reminds me of American Candle Factory in Bartonsville, PA. Lots of barrels of candy and treats and kids still want more! LOL.

Also … speaking of Pennsylvania and candy, who can forget Hershey’s Chocolate World??
“It’s the milk chocolate… moo moo moo!”

Mmmmmm…Hershey, PA. So full of chocolate, even the streetlights are Hershey Kisses! Makes me hungry, ‘scuse me a minute.

Aldi Stores have really good sour gummy worms. We all love them. I also like Shock Tarts. I don’t think they were mentioned yet.
April 14, 2013 at 10:34 pm
maybe next time Mia returns home she’ll grab some sweets from our world and get Andrew and Winston hyped up on Gummy Bears, pop rox and soda candies
April 14, 2013 at 10:35 pm
Do Pop Rocks + soda kill off kids? Or is that just seagulls I’m thinking of?
April 15, 2013 at 7:29 am
We don’t know what would happen to the people of Belatyr or a Feeb for that matter. Pop Rocks could be lethal.

Which would just be the icing on the cake that’s been Rhen’s day.

Ohhh…those sound neat actually. You are right. Mia could introduce them to all kinds of new things.
April 18, 2013 at 9:51 am
Now I’m craving Bottle Caps. Root beer flavor.

Heh, I love Andrew’s expression. It gave him a striking resemblance to Rhen. 🙂
April 16, 2013 at 11:40 am
Thanks! It’s probably because I draw everybody the same way. Don’t worry… he’s not Rhen’s kid. Ha ha
April 16, 2013 at 11:43 am
I think it would make sense. Rhen is caring for him. He would pick up Rhen’s mannerisms and such.
April 16, 2013 at 2:38 pm
How about some vintage candy commercials?

did they have something going on between them?
March 12, 2014 at 12:27 am
I think so. I think she had to break up with him, and she’s just realizing how bad it still hurts him (and how bad she might end up hurting Tristan)
March 12, 2014 at 12:18 am
Candy doesn’t look so sweet anymore when there are hungry kids outside. I think Andrew is maturing a little bit right now.
