I love this comic, but come on! Feed my ‘gotta have it NOW!!’ mind! I want to know what happens! Will she go back (duh) What is the ring? Why did her GF have it in the first place?! Will it come off or is it stuck? Why is the boy with them and AAAGGGGLKKKKK! My brain just imploded.

We are glad you like it!! All your questions will be answered over the course of the comic. I can tell you one thing–Andrew is not Rhen’s son or brother. So there is a mini spoiler for you.

Creepy castle, atmospheric lighting, stormy waves… nice and evil!

“It was a dark and stormy night…”

Wow, why is it that you can always tell who’s evil and who’s not by looking at their ‘fortress’? Seriously, all the dude hiring him had to do was be like ‘oh, where’s your port of call?… It’s there?… You know what, I think the job is filled, sorry.’

Because creepy castles are fun to draw. 🙂

It’s true! Weather does indicate the alignment of characters!
I’m hoping the shadowy figure, if proving the be the Big Bad, is fun to read. Nonchalant villains always are exciting. Also villains who have at least one Gambit (of the Xanatos or Batman variety) going on. Usually, those two go hand in hand…And from this page, WMGs are forming in my head. Awesome.

i see you’ve gone for the traditional creepy evil fortress on a stormy night, cliche but awesome 😉

Well….we were torn between a fortress or an aluminum trailer. We went with the fortress.

But how awesome would it be to have the Big Bad say he lives in a van… down by the river. 😉

When he made his delivery I was suspecting it came from someone equally shady. And I suspected at the time that it might contain more than just the desired supplies.
